Worried About Someone?

Is someone in your life increasingly hostile, justifying hate and maybe violence towards people that are different from them? You don't need to be certain. If something feels wrong, that's reason enough to reach out.

With the right support, people can move away from hate and violence. We'll listen, help you understand what you're seeing, and talk through what you can do next.

Reaching out is about getting support, not getting someone in trouble. Every conversation is free and confidential.

What You Might Be Noticing

  • Pulling away from friends and family
  • Growing anger or hatred toward a group of people
  • Talking as if violence is necessary or the only option
  • Spending more and more time in extreme online spaces
  • Believing everyone is against them
  • Hostility or contempt, with no willingness to talk

What Happens When You Reach Out

When you contact us, our trained coaches can help you:

  • understand whether what you're seeing is concerning
  • figure out how to engage with the person
  • decide what's safe and right for your role
  • find the right next step, or other support that fits

Some calls end with a plan to start a conversation. Others end with bringing in more help. Either way, we work through it together. You can stay anonymous, and you don't need to give your name or have all the answers.

If we don't pick up, leave a message and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Who You'll Talk To

Our helpline is staffed by trained coaches with backgrounds in social work, counseling, mediation, reentry support, and violence prevention. We know how to talk about radicalization, extreme beliefs, and movement toward violence.

We are not a crisis line, and we do not provide therapy or clinical treatment.
